Every Tuesday

Unplug. Reconnect. One Day a Week.

We're not anti-technology — we're pro each other. Join a growing movement of families, schools, and communities choosing one day to put the screens down.

We Already Know the Problem

Nobody needs a 40-page study to tell them we're staring at screens too much. We feel it. Our kids feel it. But going cold turkey isn't realistic — so let's start with one day.

Stronger Relationships

Eye contact, conversation, board games, a walk — the things that actually make us feel connected happen when the phones are away.

Better Sleep & Focus

One screen-free evening resets your brain. Kids sleep better. Adults think clearer. It's not magic — it's just biology.

A Shared Commitment

It's easier when everyone does it together. When your school, your family, your neighborhood all agree — Tuesday is the day.

Three Steps. That's It.

Pick Your Level

Full digital detox? No social media? No screens after dinner? You decide what works for your family.

Spread the Word

Tell your friends, your school, your workplace. The more people who join, the easier it gets for everyone.

Unplug Every Tuesday

Put the phones in a basket. Dust off the board games. Cook together. Talk. Be bored for a minute — it's OK.

An Engineer, a Mom, and a Wild Idea

I'm an engineer and a mom. I build things for a living — and I use technology every single day. This isn't about being anti-tech.

It's about noticing that my family — and a lot of other families — have stopped looking at each other. We've had the weekend to catch up on everything. Monday is hectic. But by Tuesday? We can breathe. We can try.

I know — who am I to start a movement? But somebody has to say "let's try this," and it might as well be a regular person who just wants her family to have dinner without four glowing rectangles on the table.

"When we asked AI to help brand a movement about using less technology, it immediately said: this is a great idea and it's long overdue."

Even the machines agree — we need a break from the machines.

If You Want the Science

You already feel it, but here are a few respected sources if you need the data to convince someone (or yourself).

Take the Pledge

Sign up to commit to No Tech Tuesday. We'll send you a weekly reminder (on Monday, of course) and ideas for what to do with all that free time.

No spam. No selling your data. That would be deeply ironic.
